So! Here I am and there you are. Welcome to my blog.
My name's Rebecca. I'm a college student. I'm currently majoring in English. I speak some French. I think the French are cool. I also think the British are cool. I don't know much about the Australians but they sound pretty awesome. I like Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Just give me an excuse to put a hat on my head. I like chocolate a lot. I go through phases of obsession over different films and books. I never log out of Facebook. I have an iPhone. I play the best instrument (in case you didn't know, that's the clarinet). I'm a fan of Broadway. I have a friend who calls me Broadway. Once I stayed up until 5 A.M. writing a short story for a final project.
Sounds like a good description to me.
My greatest passion in life is telling stories. Once upon a time that was limited to writing stories for others to read, but my interests have expanded to many other types of media. I find it fascinating how people find different ways to use technology to tell stories in this day and age. I dream of writing a bestselling novel, although I also have to find a way to put bread on the table until that happens. Still working on that part.
I'm a creative type of person. Sometimes I have a different/funny/crazy/weird but definitely entertaining view of life. I have random thoughts. My dad got me this blog for Christmas, which is awesome because now I'm the only person in the world who can have a website called rebeccamast.com. Too bad for all the other Rebecca Masts out there. Sorry. But now I can share all my random thoughts and all the different/funny/crazy/weird but definitely entertaining things that happen in my life. If you care to join in the adventure, welcome aboard!
Since this is my very own blog and I can do whatever I want with it, you never know what you might find on here. Anecdotes from my daily life, definitely. Photos, probably. I might start up a Haiku of the Day. I could do reviews. I might even put up some art, which would be very interesting because I might be a writer, but I am certainly not an artist. We'll see how this goes. I know I'm excited.
